2025 Habitat Workshops

Workshop: An Introduction to Riparian Plantings

WHEN: May 29 (Thursday) from 1:00PM – 2:30PM

WHERE: Lotzgesell Creek in Sequim (address will be emailed to registered participants)

Join Conservation District staff and local landowners to tour two sites along Lotzgesell Creek where native trees and shrubs were recently planted to help provide shade to waterways, protect water quality, enhance habitat, control erosion, and provide other ecological benefits.

The tour will provide information about site preparation before planting, plant species and selection, management of common invasive weeds, and programs available to provide landowners in Clallam County with both technical and financial assistance to restore native vegetation along streams and rivers. We hope to see you at the workshop, but if you are unable to attend and would like more information on the free services we provide for streamside landowners please visit our Conservation Along the Creek webpage.

Please register for the workshop using the form below.
